I sometimes need a challenge, a focus, an endpoint.
I have worked hard this last year to lose some weight and get back into a less jello jiggler like physical shape. To further that, and have something to focus on, I am planning on competing in a mini sprint triathlon (try to forget that this is the absolute smallest triathlon you can do) this September. In checking out some different training plans I have found I am right on track for running, way ahead on biking and really behind on swimming. Not that I think the swimming will be a problem, I used to be a fish in my former life of childhood summers, but like I said I am way behind. Like don’t own a swimsuit that fits, way behind.
